The rich oil mist works best when your hair is in protective styles and your scalp is a bit dry. It is shiny but not oily. So it won't look terrible on date night or a normal day at the office. It is very moisturizing and a little goes a long way. The best effective way to use it, is to sprits it on your scalp and massage it into your hair before covering your hair and going to bed.
