This product has become my favourite shampoo and conditioner set for both my own natural 4c hair as well as my straight and curly weaves.

Its sulphate free which is excellent for all types of hair and the shampoo doesn't strip your hair of all its moisture. The conditioner makes hair easy to manage and detangle. And it smells lovely too!!!

The size of the containers is a bonus and I love that fact that both at Dischem and Clicks the Tresemme range is usually on special.

Definitely will repurchase.

The shampoo is low in sulfates and free from all the chemicals that strip natural hair. After washing, locks feel so clean and refreshed.

I personally use the conditioner as a leave in and, so far, no product has left my curls looking so soft, shiny & frizz free.

The size is also a great bonus. 750ml shampoo lasts me up to two months with regular washes.

The only downside is the price. But Dischem often has a great special that keeps me going back.

What I have learned is that different hair prefers different products. If your hair, like mine, reacts well with coconut, this is the product for you.

The best hair care range I have used for my natural hair by far. It really nourished and helped revive my hair.

The shampoo doesn’t strip your hair off of its essential oils but leaves the hair clean and refreshed.

The conditioner helps nourish the hair leaving it very soft and manageable. The conditioner can also be used as an over night conditioner to deep condition the hair. My hair never felt healthier and Greg when I used this range.

Oh! How I love this new product from Tresemme Botanic Range. I remember I went to Clicks because that's where I usually buy my toiletries. I came across the new Tresemme Botanic Range which I didn't know they had, so I decided why not try and Boy oh Boy I love the product. It leaves my hair feeling fresh and smelling good as well. The Tresemme Botanic Conditioner left my hair feeling so soft and had the volume too. I didn't know that my hair can be curly until I have experienced the Tresemme Botanic Range Shampoo and Conditioner. Do you know that you can also detangle your hair using the Tresemme Botanic Conditioner, well I do? I bought the conditioner because that is my preferred method of cleansing my hair...cowashing.
I initially was drawn to the Botanique range because it doesn't contain sulphates and pararbens. After using the entire 750ml,my conclusion is that it is a great smelling conditioner that leaves your hair spelling like a tropical paradise ( it contains coconut extract ). Two drawcards for me are: it didn't leave my hair softer nor did it help with detangling. One plus,other than the smell,it cleanses well. Available at major retailers at R80

I've been using this for the last 6 months, and WOW! My hair has never been in better shape! It smells amazing and a little goes a long way. Its budget friendly for a sulphate free option as opposed to spending R300 on my previous shampoo. It leaves my hair feeling clean, soft and manageable

The biggest highlight of this range is its price. It retails for as lil as R60 a bottle on promo pricing and around R80 at its normal pricing.

It smells great. The shampoo lathers up really well and the conditioner has a softening effect on the hair. This range gives your hair that soft bouncy feel whilst at the same time thouroughly cleanses the hair.

The bottles being so big (750ml) gives you total value for money. I have fairly long hair and the shampoo lasts me around 6-8 months lol whilst the conditioner lasts me around 3-4 months since I use more conditioner for my wash and go's.

I only started my hair journey around March/April this year, so finding products that are suitable can be challenging especially if you don't have sufficient knowledge about hair care. I have relaxed hair. I just recently discovered that I have low porosity hair so it made it more imperative to find a moisture conditioner that was of great quality. Ever since this Tresemme Bontanique range came out, there has been some many people raving about it so I eventually decided to try it.

I was 2 months post my relaxer treatment when I tried this product. Everyone who is relaxed knows what a hassle it can be when you are dealing with your new growth. Fortunately, Tresemme made it so much easier. I have never found detangling any easier with less breakage. The conditioner moisturised my hair like no other product has. My growth was more manageable which allows me to stretch my relaxer even further.

I have been on my natural hair journey for 8 months and part of that has been trying out several products in order to find what works best for my hair. I have high porosity hair and I am always looking out for products that help to retain moisture.

The TRESemmé BOTANIQUE Nourish & Replenish Range as a whole is quite effective. It has the sweetest scent which I find heavenly!

I have recommended it to a few natural hair sisters and would definitely purchase it again.

The shampoo has a weird consistency (that's neither here not there as it doesn't affect its use I just thought, this is rather gluey). But my hair liked it, I did not get that dry shampoo feeling, it cleans well and it doesn't foam up (which if you're new to this natural thing is pretty normal for natural products, it's actually a good sign).

The bottles are 750ml which is great because I laugh at suggestions of "pea sized amounts" For who? for what?

I have a weird problem with Tresemme bottles though, like the shape doesn't work for me and my tiny hands so I'm always dropping it ALWAYS!!!

The conditioner is a win, like, while I liked the shampoo and will probably end up buying it because of the size and smell and the fact that it's nice (not OMW wow wow - nice) its okay man like it doesn't dry my hair out but I'm not that vested in shampoos, it's the conditioners that I'm interested in.

Today I am giving you the scoop on TRESemmé’s Expert Selection Nourish and Replenish Shampoo and Conditioner. I’m talking: full product review, product rating, price and most importantly, would I repurchase it? Now, before we get to it, I’d like to give you guys a brief introduction to the product. TRESemmé’s Botanique Nourish and Replenish Shampoo is infused with coconut milk and aloe vera; the sodium laureth sulfate is formulated to thoroughly cleanse hair of any oils and product build up. However, it does have adverse effects of drying out your ends, that’s why TRESemmé supplemented the product with coconut milk for added moisture which brilliantly compensates for the sodium laureth sulfate leaving you with oil free, nourished hair. TRESemmé Botanique Nourish and Replenish Conditioner contains coconut milk and aloe vera, and both the shampoo and conditioner are free from parabens and dyes. The aleo vera contains enzymes called proteolytic which repairs dead skin cells on your scalp while replenishing your hair. It promotes growth and leaves your hair feeling smooth and looking shiny. So, in terms of nourishment and protection, this shampoo and conditioner has hit the mark. I mentioned in my recent hair videos that I went for a Keratin Treatment last year, so I was advised to avoid shampoo that contains sulfate. Hence, I was a little skeptical when I first read that the shampoo contains sulfate. However, this shampoo has lower levels of sulfate and it contains properties that are high in moisture. Thus, I was keen on putting it to the test. It cleansed my hair and although my scalp was left looking even more flakey, it did not leave my hair looking dried out. After I applied the conditioner and oil mask, I could immediately feel and see the results. Beside the fact that I am overdue on a trim, the difference between the before and after is quite evident. My hair looks better, it feels soft and it is full of moisture.

I've used the normal Tresemmé range before and what I found with the other range besides making my hair shiny, silky and smooth it was very harsh on my scalp, it made it very dry. So upon receiving the Botaniques range the first thing I did when opening the package was check the ingredients of the product, I was very pleased to see that the product contained Coconut milk and Aloe Vera and that the Shampoo was low in sulphate which would be very gentle for my scalp.

Luckily when I received the product I was due for a hair wash and I usually leave my hair natural for a week or more to give it a break from the heat.

When I first used the product the first thing that triggered my senses was the smell of the shampoo and conditioner. By my 3rd wash and condition I could tell the difference, most of the time my hair is absolutely dry and frizzy and the Tresemmé Botanique range definitely aids in nourishing my hair leaving it softer than usual, I could already see that after my first wash my hair wasn't as dry this was without me putting conditioner and once I put the conditioner on my hair was immediately quenched and got some life into it.

I find that the Tresemmé Botaniqu range is more nourishing and gentle on my hair than the other Tresemmé ranges and other premium range shampoo and conditioners.

I'm pretty glad that I got to try out the product because my hair really needed to be rescued during this dry session. What a great addition to the Tresemmé range, love it!

I love that: companies are listening to their consumers and following the all natural ingredient trend. Rather than us having to cook up our own scary home remedies!

I'm crazy about the smell. It's really delightful. The shampoo gets a 4 out of 5 because of my experience (link below) but the conditioner definitely gets a 5 out of 5.

My first impressions were the scent is absolutely lovely and hypnotic. The qaulity and effectiveness is really great.
I have curly type 3 hair, dry and very frizzy. The Shampoo cleansed my hair thoroughly withuot drying it too much and the conditioner is really nourishing and has great slip for detangling. The packaging is beautiful and I think it's really affordable and will last a long time.
I had my review buddy Bianca has type 4 hair and she really enjoyed the moisture from the products. She coloured her hair and used it as an after colour treatement and her hair was so soft and shiny. We really enjoyed using and using Tresemme Botanique. A must buy!

Wow wow wow! That's how I'd start off by describing the BOTANIQUE range from Tresemme.

When I got it, it was perfect timing because I had just undone my corn-rows, but wasn't really ready to relax my hair. But I figured, if don't relax my hair, how will I be able to manage and style my then tangled hair?!

Alas, Tresemme came to the rescue!
I washed and conditioned my hair and it has never felt so soft!
Both the shampoo and conditioner helped cleanse, nourish and hydrate my hair. It replenished the moisture that my hair needed, while also getting rid of all that product build up.

My hair breaks quite a lot, but I noticed that after using the products, it didn't break as much as it normally does. My hair had that moisture boost and healthy shine.

This was really salon-quality performance, and I couldn't be happier. Plus, each product is R79.99 - Such great value for money!!! They also smell reallllly good so that's a bonus!

Well it's been almost 2 weeks now that I have been using the TRESemmé Botanique Shampoo and Conditioner. And let me tell you something... it has been working for me. Not only for my weave but my natural hair underneath. The product doesn't leave my hair as dry as before with other products I have been using. The product smells great and leaves my hair so soft I could literally sleep on it.

There has been no breakage of the hair and the hair looks so healthy.
What I loved the most was that I could use the conditioner and mix it with water into an empty bottle to spray into my roots for equal nourishment,

I would definitely recommend this products to my friends and family since the price is so reasonable. Like, I mean the price is amazing for the amount of product you have in the bottle of shampoo and conditioner.

Hello guys!

So I was asked to review TRESemmé's new range of shampoo and conditioner.
A little about the product, it is a botanical blend of coconut milk and aloe vera. So it's suppose to gently cleanse while smoothing and nourishing hair to leave it feeling moisturized and soft.

Price: R79.99 for 750ml
Available at: Clicks, Dis-Chem, PnP, Shoprite, Checkers, Spar and Game
Look: A bit of a change from their usual black and white look. The shampoo is a dark green color and the conditioner is still the standard white look.

This first time I used the shampoo I definitely noticed that there is less sulphate as my hair did not feel so straw like as hair usually would feel after a shampoo. I then applied the conditioner and let it sit for a minute before rinsing it off. The smell in the bottle is lovely but once applied to my hair it gave off this leafy smell, which I personally did not like. I then brushed my hair and applied more conditioner, as that is what I usually do. The first day was alright, I was running up and down so I really put my hair to the test. I did notice it was soft but a bit frizzy. The second time I used it, I don't know what went wrong. On each side of my head I had these two sections that looked like I teased my hair only on those spots and left the rest of my hair. The coconut smell was so over powering, my mother could not stand to be near me. Later that night I could feel a build up of product, I am assuming from leaving the conditioner on which doesn't happen with the other TRESemmé conditioner I use. After that I decided to stop using the products and went back to my normal shampoo and conditioner but not before giving it an olive oil treatment.

I would recommend the product to the next person as just because I did not have an exceptional experience does not mean it would not work for the next person.

I probably would not get it again unless it had the moisturizing spray as well. Maybe that would have changed my experience and help with the extreme frizziness but until then I'm giving it a pass.

I really enjoyed being able to review this product. It's perfect for us curly haired girls, especially because it barely has any sulphate in it, and because it is also silicone free. The smell is lovely and just adds to the product quality(in my opinion). The packaging is classic and the colors used really highlight the difference between this range and the others. TRESemme Botanique Has honestly been the best thing that has ever happened to my hair thus far,my hair feels softer,smells great and its a lot easier to brush!
I've just started my natural hair journey and have been struggling to find the appropriate hair care products for my hair as it is very kids and kinky so when I received my products from Beauty bulletin I went on to see that this product is all natural and great to help maintain my afro.

The Tresemme botanique nourish and replenish shampoo: My hair smells great after washing it with the shampoo and I love that the product has all the natural ingredients my hair needs such as coconut milk and aloe vera and the fact that it is silicone free.

My style tips:
I like to part my hair before applying the shampoo then I wet it.
I then apply the shampoo from tip to root and then massage my head gently while cleaning my hair.
I then rinse out the shampoo with Luke warm water(never rinse your hair with hot water because that can lead to breakage especially if you have an afro)


The Tresemme Botanique Nourish and replenish Conditioner: The Conditioner has become my best friend it smells amazing and always leaves my hair soft ,smelling great and Brushable.

My style tips:
I apply my conditioner straight after I've rinsed out the shampoo.
I apply it from tip to route and gently massage it in my hair.
I brush out my hair a bit and then leave it in for about 2-3 minutes.
I then rinse it out but leave a little
I then pat my hair with a towel to get rid of excess water and then air dry it.

The Botanique Nourish and replenish Conditioner and shampoo have all natural ingredients in them such as: water,aloe vera,coconut and glecerin which are all very nutritional for your hair.

some benefits of the products:
Silicone free, reduces friz ,hair is left a lot softer and the moisture is also there, its also really important to shampoo and condition your afro because it keeps it clean and healthy and brushable,you should at least wash it once a week due to product build up and also through excessive sweating(if you do sports or work out like me) because it can block hair follicles.

I would rate this product with an 10/10 I'm am totally in love with them and my hair feels great and hassle free to look after.

I have thick, straight and quite heavy hair; i have always found that certain shampoos and conditioners tend to weigh my hair down even more and because of this have always been really selective about my choices of hair care.
i have really enjoyed using this range so far; finding that my hair is definitely softer and more nourished.
the only reason i wouldn't repurchase these products is because they aren't certified animal cruelty free - which i feel quite strongly about. otherwise it's a great range and works well

I liked that the Shampoo wasn’t as drying and harsh on my hair as shampoo’s usually are. The shampoo left my hair feeling soft and this made the detangling process with conditioner easier. It
THE CONDITIONER:

I LOVE THIS CONDITIONER!!! Usually after using a shampoo that isn’t completely sulphate free, conditioner fails to penetrate my hair for some reason and my hair doesn’t gain it’s softness back. With this conditioner my hair had so much slippage and detangling was an absolute dream. It left my hair feeling so soft and my main thing when using a product is how well it defines my curls. This product gave me a good amount of curl definition. My hair was also very shiny afterwards. I did my normal loc method (leave-in, oil & conditioner).

BeautyBulletin couldn’t have sent these products at a better time for me as I was still shopping for a more natural shampoo and conditioner. TRESemme BOTANIQUE Nourish & Replenish Shampoo feels like it’s going to be my saving grace. I’ve been using it for a couple of days but I must give it props for the improvement I’m seeing and feeling.

First impressions of the product:

The smell, omg the smell is just amazing! I could wash my hair over and over again just for that smell. The second thing I loved about these is their size: 750ml. I love everything that comes in big sizes because I don't want to runout of product every month, I want my products to last me.

Combing my natural hair was the most unpleasant thing for me so I was ecstatic to get out of the shower and comb my hair without any pain, the comb literally just went through. I then left my hair to dry before putting moisturiser to see if it would feel super dry and ‘what a wow moment’ it wasn’t dry at all. Usually, after I wash my hair, it feels extra dry and brittle when the wetness all dries out but this didn’t happen. My hair is honestly softer and healthier looking.

When you are growing natural hair, it is so important to wash and condition so that your hair doesn’t drown in oil or tangle because tangled hair breaks like nobody’s business and you don’t want that. These products have been my saving grace in terms of detangling.

I love the fact that it’s free from silicones which prevent conditioning ingredients, moisture and your hair’s natural oils from penetrating your hair shaft. This explains why it took so long for my hair to hold in moisture after washing it before. The products are made from all natural products, with the main ingredients being Coconut Milk and Aloe Vera which are good for locking in moisture and deep conditioning hair.

I’m absolutely obsessed with cocoa plant products and coconut oil which I use on my hair so it’s perfect.

I’m trying out these products with my little sister Khothatso Moloi and she is transitioning from relaxed to natural without cutting her hair, she refuses to cut it and just start naturally. You can imagine how difficult it is to manage two hair textures on one head, half natural and half relaxed.

This product has been perfect for her, during the transition her hair is equally moisturised and she recently plaited her hair after using the shampoo and conditioner and there was no dandruff in between her tracks. She battles with a lot of dandruff and the improvement on her scalp is the biggest plus from these products.

For R79.99 per unit, it is totally worth it, I’m utterly satisfied and would recommend it for natural hair.

I gave this product a go as I am one of the many woman who have a million shampoo and conditioner bottles filled with products that didn't live up to my great expectations.

I am a lover of beauty products that smell amazing and I have found that usually if a product smells lovely then it falls short on other MORE important aspects. Fortunately this product is not like that.

I have very thin hair that's very dry and brittle I have always struggled with finding a product for my hair that will restore moisture to soften my hair. I have been using tresseme consistently for a week and the results are amazing!

My hair was softer with the first wash and by the time I conditioned my hair the difference was mind blowing. My hair didn't tangle as much as it usually does and brushing my hair ,usually a daunting task,was a breeze.

I am happy to report that all the shampoo and conditioner bottles have been replace by two! This is a brilliant product i even caught my boyfriend stealing a squeeze one morning. I'd recommend it to anyone

What makes this product more amazing is the fact that it works from Day 1. I was quite shocked when I saw my hair get curly in minutes, I couldn't stop taking selfies yet dripping water haha.

When you talk about hair treatments, the first thing which comes to my mind is Coconut. TRESemme Botanique Nourish & Replenish Conditioner

After about two uses, I think this conditioner is really good! It’s thick, but not thick to where I can’t get it out of the bottle. The fragrance is a combination of fresh coconut and a perfume-like under note that is pleasant.When out of the bottle and into my hands, it’s creamy and it spreads easily through my kinky afro with almost no effort.As for detangling properties, this stuff detangles just as good! I’m able to effectively finger detangle the conditioner leaves my hair soft and easy to manage after rinsing and during my detangling.

TRESemme Botanique Nourish & Replenish Conditioner and Shampoo only has the good stuff you look for in hair products; water, aloe vera, coconut, glycerin and it is silicone free.

I give it a 10/10 because honestly, I don’t see what I don’t like about this conditioner and shampoo from the price which is R80.00. With an addictive scent and leaves, my hair clean detangles and moisturizes it how can not love it.

is not oily, greasy nor heavy. Its just Perfect. Best conditioner I have found. The smell is very strongly naturally earthly much nicer than the usual synthetic fragrance. This is certainly a very high quality product .HAS NO DYES TOO.IS SILICONE FREE. IT IS ALSO SAFE FOR COLOUR TREATED AND NATURAL HAIR.

Tip: Roots should NEVER, be conditioned avoiding your roots while conditioning is extremely IMPORTANT. Starting from the ends and Spreading the conditioner to the mid-lengths of your hair is the best way to hydrate your strands where they need it most.

My first impression of the TRESemmé BOUTANIQUE Range was the packaging!! I don't know about you, but the green bottle made me feel as though I was entering a whole new world of being natural!!

The smell of the shampoo and conditioner took my breath away!! The products smells so amazing, especially the hint of coconut milk! Yum!

One thing I have to give props to TRESemmé for is for the amount of slip in their products! I love a product that feels soft to touch, because I know it's gonna do wonder to my hair in terms of softening and nourishing it!

Shampoo: My first wash was absolutely amazing! I appreciate a foaming shampoo because it make me feel as though the cleaning job is actually being done! And after I rinsed the shampoo, my hair was not even dry!!! *shuu...*

Conditioner: Slip! soft! Silky!!! I could detangle my coils, and deep condition my hair all with ONE single product!!! And the ever lasting smell was a bonus for me!!! I didn't even need to apply anything on my hair because it was so moisturized!!!

How I Use It
I lather it through all of my hair properly. I gently massage my scalp near hair roots as I shampoo, letting the foams run through my hair.
Then I wash it off with normal temperature water.

The shampoo lathers up very well makes my hair squeaky clean. Even if I have oil in my hair, it removes every trace of oil and dirt from my hair leaving it fresh. However, I always need to follow this up with a conditioner. The combo with the shampoo and conditioner is a must do!

Overall Verdict
This is a great shampoo for normal to oily hair type beauties and if any hair type. Always follow up with a conditioner after using this shampoo. Always dry your hair with a soft cotton towel or Tshirt to avoid frizz.

The conditioner smells exactly smells of vanilla caramel which is my favourite it's so distinctive. The texture of the conditioner is thick, creamy and slippery. How I Use it
After I shampoo my hair, I take 2 hands full times conditioner on my palms. Then I spread the conditioner on the lengths of my hair from my ear till the ends of my hair. After leaving the conditioner in my hair for approximately 5-7 minutes, I wash it off completely with normal temperature water. I also would like to advise you to wash off all conditioner from the hair properly and not leave any product in the hair. Otherwise this will result in product build up and hair will turn greasy quickly.
I find the conditioner does an excellent job.

Overall I feel this is a great conditioner for all hair types. Provides enough hydration for my normal to dry hair. And it's free from Silocone, parabens, dyes with lower sulphates.

So when Tresemme Naturals left our shelves we were all pretty heartbroken- at the time, it was one of the few ‘for natural hair’ brands we could get. The reduced sulphate shampoo provided just the right amount of cleansing my fro needed after all the build-up. I legit could detangle from the slip of the shampoo alone ? The conditioner is the perfect level between moisturizing and detangling, and my hair was softly defined after using it. Botaniques is infused with coconut milk and aloe vera, so I’ve been walking around smelling like I drink pina coladas and get caught in the rain ??

TRESemmé BOTANIQUE Nourish and Replenish Shampoo & Conditioner

Last year TRESemmé discontinued their natural range in South Africa, and it took me about 2 months to notice because I had stocked up (that's how much I loved it). Naturals were shook to the core and felt personally triggered, but you better PUT SOME RESPEK on TRESemmé's name cause IT'S BACK AND IT'S BETTER!

Straight Up Facts:
The improved wash and care system is made with natural ingredients, is free from parabens, silicons & dyes, and contains lower sulphates. The two main ingredients, coconut milk and aloe vera, are natural ingredients that I love working into my DIY hair care. Aloe Vera gel/juice used for hair nourishment contains nutrients which promote hair growth, repairs dull hair, provides moisture and makes hair soft & shiny. Coconut Milk is one of the best kept hair secrets for silky hair (as most naturals just use the oil). The milk contains vitamins which fight damage and deeply condition the hair.

The combination of Aloe Vera and Coconut Milk have moisturizing and antiseptic properties which soften and deeply moisturize the hair and wildly encourages hair growth. So you can imagine my excitement!

My first Impression:
Although the shampoo & conditioner combo is not completely sulphate free, the shampoo cleanses your hair without leaving that squeaky-clean feeling that leaves hair dry and hard. Most sulphate containing shampoos strip the dirt and too much oil from you hair, but this one will leave it feeling soft and smooth and smelling great! I'm rarely impressed by shampoos (since I don't buy them too often), but this one took me by surprise! I only had to use a R5-sized blob to cleanse my whole head! (Impressive, since I have hair for Africa)

There was a lot of pressure on the conditioner, since conditioner is a staple product for me (there are currently 6 conditioner bottles in my shower, don't judge). Off the bat, I wished it would've been a leave in conditioner, as a natural I appreciate a conditioner that is multi-purposed. But that's okay too, the conditioner is thick and creamy and deeply soaked into my hair, leaving it feeling soft and super moisturized, serving as a great co-wash! My favourite part about it, is that the conditioner has LOTS of slip, making it super easy to detangle my hair!

TIPS:
- When using this combo, why not do a pre-poo which compliments the main ingredients? One of my favourite DIY pre-poos is using fresh aloe Vera gel/juice from root to tip, or you can mix Aloe Vera and coconut milk/oil as great deep conditioner!
- I will say this everytime. When detangling you hair, always start from the ends and work your way up to your roots. (Thank me when you have bra strap length hair).

Where to get it:
If I'm telling you where to buy, you know I'm buying it too! It does the job (and well!), and it's cheapie but A GOODIE! These go for R80 each (say whaaaaaat) and are available at all shoprite, checkers, clicks, PnP, dischem and game stores.

Tresemmé has been a favourite of mine for years now, so discovering that the brand I love and trust has jumped on the healthy-hair bandwagon is music to my ears! Because I put my hair through so much, with pre-straightening products, post-straightening products, serums, sprays and dry shampoos, I always try to find and use natural products whenever I can.

I felt that the shampoos gave my hair a really thorough cleanse. My post shampoo-hair felt not only clean, but nourished, soft and had an air of freshness to it. I have a lot of hair and as a result I’ve developed a habit of using possibly a bit more shampoos than I ought to in efforts to make sure I coat each strand. In this case, my overcompensating was a total non-requirement as I felt the product generously coated my hair, while also lathering up quite nicely.

On to conditioner. Now any curly-haired girl will let you know that conditioning is an - if not the most important part of hair care. This process ensures that your hair is nourished and moisturised with all the essential nutrients it needs after the shampoos has done its job in thoroughly cleansing. I like to apply the conditioner to my hair, allow is to soak it for around five minutes before rinsing. On my final rinse, I tend not to be as thorough in getting the product out of my hair, as I like to have a bit of the conditioner in my hair on the days that I go natural. If not this technique, then I spread one or two drops of conditioner to style and lock in my natural curls

I continue to be impressed by the level of quality products Tresemmé puts out; I use not only there shampoos and conditioners, but also the brand’s heat protect sprays and hair sprays. With this in mind, Tresemmé has become a brand I know and trust, so seeing the brand embrace natural hair and natural hair products is very exciting as we take steps forward to catering for every type of woman.

The shampoo and conditioner both have great slip and foam immediately, which what I look for in shampoos.
The product really helps with detangling having dreads, it makes it so much easier for me when I have to twist my dreads.

I also have really dry hair and itchy scalp and this range is specially formulated to leave your hair feeling smooth and moisturise, relieving your scalp dryness and itchiness. My dreads also felt thicker and brought back the colour to them.

Each bottle is about 750 ml and if you only need to wash your hair once a week, this range can last forever.

I used my TRESemme Botanique Nourish & Replenish products the same day I received them, i.e. last Thursday. Both, the shampoo and conditioner are dye, silicone, and paraben free, they are also are infused with coconut milk and aloe vera.

TRESemme Botanique Nourish & Replenish Shampoo:

The shampoo is a transparent blob with a consistency of a smooth gel. It did not lather much on the first wash, regardless of how much I used, that said it did coat my hair well to make detangling quick and easy. On the second wash, my small shampoo blob lathered enough to start a foam party and after rinsing my hair felt incredibly soft and looked like my hair had hair babies. I think the volume would have been more ideal on looser type 3 curls, on my tightly coiled afro that was just overwhelming.

TRESemme Botanique Nourish & Replenish Conditioner:

Is creamy white in colour and, like the shampoo, it smelled like a warm Caribbean dream, a rich coconut scent, not much of the loe vera though. I was hoping for a thick, creamy goodness and I got a lotion type of consistency. Unsurprisingly, I had to apply a lot of the Tresemme Botanique Nourish & Replenish Conditioner to get my afro's volume somewhat under control enough to comb from root to tip with ease.

The verdict:

The Tresemme Botanique Nourish & Replenish Shampoo was good to my high porosity hair, which is prone to dryness. It cleansed without being harsh, for that, I will happily keep it. The conditioner is rather too light for my liking, even though my afro did attain a desirable amount of softness I would have preferred this conditioner to be more thick and richer.

The price tag of R79.99, 750ml for each product is reasonable for the value, quality and effectiveness that my hair got out of them. The fact that they are also pretty much available everywhere, i.e. Clicks, Dis-chem, PnP, Shoprite, Checkers, Spar and Game will make them a favourite with a lot of budget-conscious natural girls.

I have only been using the TRESemme products for couple of days but I have seen and felt a noticeable difference.My hair is moisturized.its been couple of months relexed free and struggling with my hair.trust me when I say struggling to comb a single inch.coming across the NEW TRESemme for natural hair I was so pleased.i never knew how dry my hair was until I started using these products.my hair also feels thicker as well,I believe this is because your products absorbs right into the hair...Thank you for creating this new hair care line.i will mostly certainly tell my friends and family about TRESemme.

I am so impressed with this product!!!

I could see and feel the difference in my hair from the first use, and my hair was already feeling softer before applying the conditioner ( which is a rare occurrence as my hair is super processed, so it tangles easily and is usually very hard).
Once I applied the conditioner, I easily detangled my hair using my fingers and let it soak in for 3 minutes then rinsed off. Thanks to the Coconut milk and Aloe Vera, my curls are softer and beautifully defined.

the fact that the range contains natural ingredients is amazing for me as I recently went "natural" and have only been using natural products.

Plus, the price is pretty insane, R79.99, for 750ml? I am all for affordable beauty and this product will save you some bucks as well as have your hair looking amazing after just a few uses. I love this product already and I've only used it a few times! ??Seriously, my hair feels amazing. My hair is more moisturised and softer than it's been in a while. My Curls are bouncier and have a lot more life. And get this. The curls stay defined for longer. Normally I have to wash my hair every second day in order to get good curls, but not while using this range!??When combing out my hair, I use the conditioner as it detangles and makes my hair much easier to handle. I also left some of the conditioner in my hair which reduced frizz and kept my curls looking amazing.

I received these TRESemme’ products, in partner with Beauty Bulletin, to try out and review. I received these products only 3 days ago, due to courier delays etc, but I jumped straight into the shower to try these out. This review required me to choose someone close to me to try these products out as well, and so my mom will be on this journey with me.

This range consists of the TRESemme’ Bontanique Shampoo & Conditioner. It is infused with Coconut Milk & Aloe Vera and is said to Nourish & Replenish. This range consists of no parabens and no dye. It is said to nourish and replenish damaged and dry locks.
So with that being said, let’s jump straight into this review!!

PACKAGING:
Both the shampoo and the conditioner are packaged in 750ml plastic, standard TRESemme’ bottles. The shampoo bottle is dark green and the conditioner bottle is white. Both products are from the expert collection and they are both silicone-free products.
I love TRESemme’ packaging as they are solid and secure, especially for an environment like the shower. The nozzle is a standard TRESemme’ flip and press nozzle which allows products to be dispensed easily. I also absolutely love the small pictures of the coconut and Aloe Vera, as this is eye catching when standing in front of the shampoo isle looking what to purchase.

PRODUCT:
The first thing that grabbed my attention on these two products was the smell. If you know me you know I absolutely LOVE coconut! The smell is super refreshing and long lasting and in no way is over powering. If you are someone who does not enjoy scented hair products then this could still be on your list.

The shampoo has a clear and creamy consistency, and it lathers up really nicely when rubbed into the hair. It also left an amazing feeling on my scalp as well as an amazing SMELL! The shampoo blends well on the scalp and only a small bit is needed. When I used this shampoo my hair felt so light weight (and I have extremely thick hair) and it never irritated the scalp at all. I always tend to do 2 washes with shampoo just to get that extra layer off, but honestly, with this product I did not feel that was necessary.

 
The conditioner as a white creamy consistency, and smells just as amazing as the shampoo. This product really showed itself when it came to brushing out the “change of season” knots in my hair. My hair detangled so easily with absolutely no fuss. I honestly thought, I had swept some oil through it. When I condition my hair I only apply conditioner from the ears down and not the roots as this tends to make my hair very oily. I will in future apply this product to the roots and get back to you with the result! My hair felt so smooth and silky after using this, and it really gave my hair a glowing shine.

Overall, I really enjoyed this shampoo and conditioner from TRESemme’. It provides a great nourishment and natural shine to the hair. My hair once blow dryed and brushed straight had body and volume.  I would definitely recommend this product to others as I am super happy with it.
My mom has shorter hair than me, and she absolutely loved this product as well. We have both only used it once and therefore will be in again with a second update.

Oh and the MOST important part – these two products retail for ONLY R79.99 from Clicks, Dischem, Game, PnP, Spar, Shoprite and Checkers.
