I think the pigmentation on the shimmers in this pallet. However there is not enough shadows. 3 matte shadows in a 12 pan pallet is not a good balance. The matte black however is super pigmentation and is my go to black eye shadow.
I bought my palette more than 2 years ago and I'm still using it. You don't need to use much as it shows quite quick on fair skin. I love the earthy colours because you can wear with just about anything.
I would recommend this product to any girl to get those nice smokey eyes or just a nice and chilled day look.
I love this product. It is quite expensive but it lasts you a while.
It may be bit over budget for an eyeshadow palette, but it is so worth it!
PROS:
The pigmentation is remarkable!
The brush that comes with the palette is perfect for a nude look.
This palette is perfect if you have darker hair or you have dark eyebrows. Although the colours are suited for that of dark hair people, I havent met anyone this palette does not agree with.
This palette will last a long time!
CONS:
When the palette is finished you will have to buy a new one!!!!!1
I too bought a dupe palette, although I was aware at the time (I bought it from a market in Thailand for R40 and only an absolute fool would think it was real!. After reading through some other comments I do think I have the best view of the colours. My pots were all full and the shadows themselves are rich and super pigmented. I use the colour Dark Horse on my eyebrows and it lasts me from 7am to around 8pm. I also find that my brush is fab and there have been no bristles falling out or anything like that. The colours themselves can be used from anything from a light Spring look to a super sultry smokey-eye.
There was a lady selling these in a fete in roshnee for R500, there were sealed and were in my opinion the real thing, I didn't know how much they sold for or I would have bought it then!
So I really wanted an Urban Decay palette, the Naked 2 to be exact, and I remember that Rubybox had the originals for about R650 some time back. so when i saw this on bidorbuy, I am ashamed to say, I thought it was the real deal.. I'm not familiar with U.D so please bear with me here.
So I paid R400 + and additional R50 for shipping the seller was really convincing that it was the real deal and all, But only after I had paid, I did a little digging, and then very sadly discovered I had pretty much been scammed.
BUT, I guess every cloud has a silver lining. When my parcel arrived, I immediately swatched it. Surprisingly the shadows are highly pigmented and are buttery soft. It picks up well on the brush, applies like a dream and is easily blendable.
The problem with fakes is that it's not regulated so I have no idea what ingredients it contains, but lucky for me I have had no reaction. I have since stopped using it and saving my pennies for the real deal - currently R1399 on 27pinkx.
The brush itself it useless, cheap quality with shedding hairs. light as a feather and belongs in the bin - Just my opinion here.
All in all, a lesson learnt, and R450 later.. at least i have a nice palette of colours for my face charts :)
