I recently purchased the Yardley loose translucent powder in the shade buff. I was skeptical at first, as I've never used a loose powder before.
I found it a bit messy, especially when applying the powder using the sponge it comes with, so I prefer using a kabuki brush. The shade buff is definitely lighter than my skin color, so I was worried that it would leave my face looking ashy, but it didn't, instead it minimized the shine my liquid foundation gave me and also created a smooth finish to my make up. My foundation also lasted much longer than usual. You can also use this powder for baking, although I haven't tried it yet. I purchased mine from Edgars for R149,99, but they are available at Clicks and Dischem as well.
