Yardley 24 Hours Stayfast Foundation

A good foundation for makeup as it goes on lightly and doesn't feel uncomfortable on my face. I have tried so many various ranges and different formulas that I was relieved to find it wasn't necessary to combine 2 different shades to match my skin tone. Although I had to apply an extra layer to achieve full coverage I like that it doesn't leave me sweaty. The SPF 20 is always a bonus.

This foundation unfortunately didn't do it for me. I have a friend who sings its praises, but I just didn't like it.
I bought it because it is affordable and my usual MaxFactor foundation was out of stock.
Although the colour initially matched my skin tone well, the formula was way too thick for my liking, it was difficult to blend, and just felt tacky and heavy on my skin. Within the next two hours of wear, my face was an oily mess and the foundation had oxidized so much that it was about two shades darker than when I first applied it, and it had turned slightly orange.
Fortunately, my friend wears the same shade without any issues so I was able to pass it on to her, but needless to say, it just didn't work for my skin type and preferences, so I won't be buying this again.

Unfortunately I would have to say that this foundation was definitely not for me.
My first issue was that I couldn't find a shade that matched my skin colour and the end result always looked to weird for me.
My second issue was the feel, I didn't like the way it felt when applying and how the end result looked.
My skin felt dry, and eventually it felt and looked "cakey".
I am pretty sure this foundation would sort other women, but personally I did not like it.

I had the opportunity to review Yardley 24 Hours Stayfast Foundation.
The foundation's coverage for me is a bit medium ,i had to apply more foundation to get a full coverage.
The application is smooth and long wearing.
The fact that it's SPF 20 is a plus.
If you want medium coverage that leaves a natural look with SPF 20 then this foundation is perfect for you.

What I liked most about the Yardley 24 Hours Stayfast Foundation is the great coverage it provided once it had been applied to my skin as well as it being an affordable product. The liquid is thicker than other foundations I have used so I was somewhat apprehensive that the natural coverage I was hoping for would look rather unnatural. Luckily this was not the case and I was able to wear the foundation for a couple of hours before my skin began to look a bit cakey. This was the only downside to the foundation so overall this is a pretty good product!

So, it says 24 hours stay fast, i used this product, and i was very unsatisfied with the outcome. It seemed that during the late afternoon it was not "there" anymore, you couldn't notice anything like it look in the morning. Its got quite a thick substance to it, and its not easy to blend, i had a lot of problems trying to blend this product onto my skin, i added some cream, but it didn't go so well! I would definitely not be buying this product again.

This is my other favourite foundation of all time. I have used Yardley foundations for about 2 years now and since they updated this product and packaging, I decided to give it a go, since their products are really good in my opinion. This is a medium to full coverage foundation, but i have noticed sometimes it doesn't blend very well on my skin, so I think people with relatively dry skin would have a problem with this. What I really love about this foundation, is that it lasts really long on my skin, so I can literally apply it in the morning, go to class and to work after that and still have flawless looking skin.
