A very popular nail polish remover that is widely available which makes it really convenient. Overall it removes nail polish well, although I find it struggles with some of the glitter varieties. It does tend to leave my nails a bit dry afterwards but a quick application of hand and nail cream always fixes that. Will continue purchasing it happily.
Well if you live your life in the fast lane like myself , you dont have time for fuss ,basically this product works from the first swipe and leaves nails clean no hassles.
It is a highly effective product so I get to use little of it because of its high efficacy, I did not really notice a strengthening effect on my nails. Chipped nail polish is not a good look so this right here is life!
When I saw this brand of nail polish remover I would usually walk past it, as I wasn't familiar with this product. One day I ran out of nail polish remover and asked my mother to buy me some. She came home with this brand and I sort of was forced to try it out. When I try it out to remove my nail polish I was amazed at how good it worked. It immediately removed it without hassle.
The only downside of it is the fact that it has a very strong smell , it's the only thing I don't like about it.
Cutex has been around for many years and is definitely one of the more trusted brands out there.
I personally only buy this nail polish remover and avoid using cheaper lower quality makes.
However that being said, I don't find much difference between the different Cutex bottles. My nails don't seem to be any stronger after using this as compared to using another one such as the Cutex Nourishing Remover.
An acetone nail polish remover that removes nail polish with little fuss though I am not convinced of its strengthening properties.
Cutex nail polish remover has been around for a long time. So much so that when asking a friend for nail polish remover I’d just ask for “Cutex” until I realised it’s the brand for nail polish as well so then I’d ask for “Cutex remover”.
I must say I was quite surprised to to see the nail polish remover I bought recently contained acetone as I had thought this was phased out a long time ago. A quick check on the Cutex site reveals that they use acetone in nail polish removers only to be used on natural nails as it dissolves nail polish quicker. However, Cutex claims the emollients in its acetone removers condition and strengthen your nails, thus do not dry out your nails. In addition Cutex Strengthening nail polish remover is fortified with calcium and proteins to promote strong, healthy nails.
My nails looked pretty dry after I used the remover and I immediately applied nail cream and honestly the only reason I bought the strengthening formula is because the milky white formulation looked less toxic than the others. It still smells just as toxic, thank you acetone, as the others. But yes it does remove the polish without too much effort and that is what I was after.
I’ll probably try other nail polish removers in future but I think I’ll always come back to Cutex. It does the job I bought it for and I have nail cream to nourish and moisturise my nails and cuticles.
