I was super excited when I received my very own bottles of the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Hi-Impact Restoring Shampoo and Conditioner to try out. It apparently rejuvinates blonde hair's healthy shades and distressed strands and because it can be used on both natural and colour-treated blonde hair (highlights & lowlights), it seems to be the perfect product for ALL types of blondes!
If you look at the pics I uploaded, you can see that my hair has a very fine texture and, from all the coloring, has become brittle and damaged. This is why I tend to take a great deal of effort in caring for my hair and trying to bring it back to life!
The packaging of this product is awesome. I love the metallic silver paired with the matte black and pink accents. It gives it a super modern and high quality look!
After the first wash I was quite impressed with a few things. The shampoo lathers so easily in my hair. I usually shampoo my hair twice as I always find that the first wash never really lathers at all. But with the John Frieda Shampoo one wash is more than enough! It also smells delicious which is always a plus!
The conditioner also smells yummy and a little goes a long way! My hair is a lot more manageable in terms of brushing it through when it is still wet. I also find that once my hair dries it looks less damaged and actually feels thicker.
I have washed my hair with the shampoo and conditioner 3 times now and I have to say I'm pretty impressed with both. I don't normally use store bought shampoo and conditioner (I prefer salon quality brands) but this has both the look and results of a salon quality brand. I would definitely recommend this to my friends (especially the fake blondes) and I would definitely consider it the next time I need to stock up on hair products!
If you compare my before and after pics you can see that I have a lot less frizz and fly aways. My color also seems a lot more vibrant and almost more natural!

I've been trialing the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Hi-Impact shampoo and conditioner for about a week now. Over the course of the week, I washed my hair four times, in order to give as honest a review as possible.
Purely as haircare, this set is amazing. I have used the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Highlight Activating range before, and I was even more impressed by Hi-Impact! It makes my hair feel super soft. I'm lucky to have very manageable hair, so I can't comment too much on how it affects that, but it did make my hair quite smooth. It also smells incredible! My hair permanently smells like I've just left the salon.
As for if it made my hair any blonder, I think this shampoo needs to be trialed for longer to make a call on that. I noticed it brought some of my highlights out more strongly, but there doesn't seem to be a huge difference in the overall colour of my hair. As I said though, after only a week it has made a slight difference, so I'm sure that over the course of using a full bottle, the difference would be more noticeable.
I would definitely recommend and repurchase these products. It is on the pricier end of the drugstore spectrum, but I find that you don't need to use much product each time you wash your hair. Previous bottles of John Frieda shampoo have lasted me 5-6 months! So I think it actually works out to be better value for money in the long run than cheaper brands.

Over the past week I have reviewed the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Hi- Impact shampoo and conditioner. I am very selective with the products I use with my hair , as my hair is regualry bleacked and dyed and this can often leave it brittle and frizzy. I also tend to have oily hair after 2-3 days and my hair is naturally finer in texture, straight and lacks voume, so it is vital that the shampoo and conditionar I use help aid all these things.
Over the past week I have found that the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Hi- Impact shampoo and conditioner are great products to use , I used it three times during the week and I felt the feel of my hair had a lot more volume, had a healthy shine and is especially great if you have honey blonde tones or , you are more of a yellow blonde. I have platinum blonde hair so I needed to use a toner in conjunction with the shampoo to ensure I didn’t have any brassiness . Another great John Frieda product to use for this, is the colour renew tone correcting shampoo which is a must have for me.
I always worry regarding frizzy ends and brittle hair, but the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Hi- Impact conditioner left my hair feeling smooth and gave my hair a natural vibrancy and bounce. The formula was very light so it didn’t leave my hair feeling oily as I often wear my hair down and try avoid conditioner because of this, with this conditioner however my hair didn’t get oily as quick as it normally does.
I would defiantly recommend this product to everyone with natural or dyed blonde hair as it really lifts the colour and adds volume to hair that has been over processed and chemically treated. If you have fine hair you will really see the difference in the bounciness of your hair. It is a great every day shampoo and conditioner and very affordable for the value it gives, it also smells great which is always a bonus, I will definitely be adding the John Frieda Sheer blonde Products to my shopping cart in the future.

As a diehard blonde, on a forever quest to get the baby-blonde hair I donned as a toddler, I have put my hair through its fair share of abuse. Okay, okay... That's an understatement. I've been highlighting my now lightish-brown/dark blonde hair for over 10 years.
The recent "gray" trend has gotten me quite obsessed, but all the processing to get there has left my hair looking really stressed out and fragile. Sadly I now have more breakage than ever.
