This product is absolutely amazing. It is the only thing I use for my lips. Having lip eczema it’s very hard to find products that do not cause a reaction. The moisturizing agents of the products really penetrate in the skin. The price is a bit high but it’s worth it considering that it works.

I only use matte lipsticks and I'm always suffering with dry, chapped, cracked lips.
I have tried most balms out there.
This one works.
- It leaves a minty tingle on my lips
- I can even use it while I have lipstick on
- My preferred balm to use overnight
Always have one in my handbag.
So glad this brand is available in SA.

I was first introduced to Blistex in 2013 when I went on Oratane to treat my acne. Side effects or Oratane is that it makes you lips extremely dry and chapped and sensitive to the sun.
I honestly did no think it would be that bad but it was awful. My lips were constantly flakey and peeling. I went to Mkem, and they recommended Blistex. It was such a great relief and helped with the excessive dryness and cracks. Due to my lips being very chapped it did burn a little when I applied, however it was a pleasant burn, it felt like relief. To this day I still use Blistex as my lips never returned back to normal.
I would recommend Blistex to anyone with chapped/dry lips or to even use it as a primer before applying lipstick.

I used this stuff when I was pregnant with my daughter and my lips were severely dry and burning the whole time. Blistex offered great relief and moisturized my lips well. I'm currently still using the same jar and I use this whenever my lips start showing any signs of dryness.

Ladies and gents. This stuff is my holy grail when it comes to lip care. I have battled with super sensitive skin all my life, I have hectic eczema, hence the dark marks around my mouth. I play saxophone, and my lips react almost every time I play (even with a plastic cover reed). I am also a makeup addict so I have to take breaks from using lipsticks all the time because my lips get dry and irritated really easily. I cannot use any other lip ice/balms, trust me, I've tried EVERYTHING, because they make my lips worse! This product is the most amazing smelling, healing, quick acting, moisturizing lip balm I have ever used! I apply it literally once a day after I shower and I'm good to go.
