So I've gone through so many reviews about this thing and decided to purchase it. It was around R290-340 I think, I didn't really consider it cause it was a shopping day (you know how it goes :P) but I was pretty excited. Firstly, I'd just like to say that ruby woo is a stunning colour, it gels incredibly well with most skin tones and looks beautiful with a brown lipliner and super dark wing eye. The problem with me is the matte formula and the crusty factor. If I'm paying approximately 300 bucks for a lipstick it best be comfortable, long wearing and doesn't crumble over. None of these are traits attributable to MAC's ruby woo. It's a dry lipstick, really dry and not matte. It gets ridiculously patchy over a few hours of wear and you just look parched and nasty. I'm not a fan and I gave it away after 4 months of trying myself out. Bye
I bought this lipstick a few months ago and I have to say...not that impressive.
I've always loved MAC lipsticks, but unfortunately their matte lipsticks need to be improved.
I found that during the day the lipstick will settle in the corners of my mouth and I find myself having to blend it out. This gooey substance...NOT FUN.
Anyone using this product, try putting Vaseline on the lips first before applying the lipstick (it helps).
Other than that...GREAT pigmentation! MAC never lets us down on that.
