I didn’t think I was going to love this as much as I actually did. I thought to myself “There’s no way it will replace my good ol’ DIY concoctions. I am so happy to say that I was mistaken. This oil, especially when used on damp hair, makes your hair perfectly soft and fluffy. But it also works well on dry hair too, on those days where you just need to give your hair a little shine. And you don’t need much, just 1-2 pumps (or 3-4 if your hair is very dry). I love that it’s a mist that you spray on, it minimises a lot of the mess that comes with the oil treatments most of the time (goodbye oil-stained pillows age doeks). And even still, I don’t find the product “too oily”. I think this is a marvellous product - one that every Naturalista should have in her haircare collection.

Lets just say the oil mist is the plug...I have been using it on my locs...i love the smell and that it doesn't leave my locs

I have very dry hair and this product really helped bring back health to my hair. I had a lot of heat damage to so the rich oil mist really replenishes hair!

The oil is the bomb.com very hydrating and moisturising.Unlike other oils I've tried it didn't weigh my hair down.My hair swallowed the oil and it wasn't left greasy or drowning in oil.

LOVE 1: the bottle is small enough for moisture and shine on the go - since I received this, it's either been in my handbag or my car because I'm always on the go and dry is a no-no.

Price: It's quite a bit pricier than other natural oils that could offer the same amount of nourishment and definition, however, the oil is long lasting (still haven't finished my first bottle) because you do not need a lot to coat all your hair.
Quality: This product does what it says but the viscosity is quite low for a product that contains coconut. It also stays on my hands and doesn't always all go onto your hair - meaning you have to go in for a few more pumps before finishing ends, etc and end up with very oily hands.
Effectiveness: While my hair is moisturised, defined and nourished, once my hair dries or goes through a bit of turbulence (wind), my hair ends up with a lot of frizz. I have fine hair which means I like light products and prefer one-product wonders. I would recommend this oil if you're doing a LOC method or following with another styling aid.

This Rich Oil Mist! THIS RICH OIL MIST! I had to say it twice! I love it. The thing about my 4c kinky mane is that it thrives on moisture (H20) and initially when I saw the product at a natural hair event where it was launched I thought this is just a serum or another product with hair growth oils. BUT it's so much more than that. When I used it the first it felt like a water based leave in/refreshing spritz. My hair loves it so I love it. ?
Also, bottle is beautiful love the colors of this range, very easy to hold, and the smell is to die for. Just wish that it would spray better like the nozzle is too concentrated it needs to be distributed wider if that makes sense - then I can use less.

Honestly I have no negatives about this product I just simply dont think its for me. I found it a bit greasy( maybe I used too much).
However my mom seems to have loved it. She has extremly dry hair so she loved how the mist moisturized her hair and gave it a glossy finish.

This really did leave my hair feeling incredibly moisturised and soft, however I did not feel that it helped define my curls at all, I achieve better definition from other curl defining products, which annoys me that Tresemme describes it as a product that will help with definition. If you suffer from very dry hair, this is the product for you. However at R139.99 I do think it’s a unnecessary addition to your hair routine if you’re already using product that are made specifically for dry hair. Be careful not to add too much as it can leave your hair feeling oily.

I find it best not to sprits your hair full of this product but rather to spray a few pumps into your hands and then scrunch it into those dry areas equally.
If you aren't big on heavy hairfoods to get oils onto your hair then this oil blend mist is a must.

A holy Grail!!!! I REPEAT.A Holy Grail!! I LOVE THIS OIL! This product helped add moisture to my hair. My curls were a lot less frizzy which is really big for me because my hair is always frizzy. The oil added a nice scent to my hair and it was really easy to apply. It gave a nice shine to my hair and the product didn't make my hair feel greasy or oily at all.

After unboxing my package, I was truly convinced that this oil mist would be my favourite. I've tried it may times and it doesn't penetrate my hair follicles. The oil sits on my hair and I don't really get the moisture that I need from it. However...

Having 4C hair , you know that this is one of the driest hair texture you can find, so I was really happy to try this product.

As a girl with type 4 hair I found that this product gives great shine and has an amazing smell. I applied this product to moist hair as a finishing spray and it left a healthy shine to my hair.

This is a good product to seal in moisture when doing the LOC moisturising method. The product is made of seed oils and of course coconut oil.

My friend who took part in reviewing the oil mist, told me to try it and wow.. The results are amazing. I Haven't used the the rest of the products in this range, however I did use the oil mist. After diffusing my hair, I sprayed some of this onto my hair & the frizz disappeared after I ran my hand through my hair. My curls became more defined & looked so healthy and moisturized. I always struggle with frizz & dry hair & this product definitely works.

I love the Rich Oil Mist for a quick spritz and wearing it in hairstyles that il wear out on that day as a 4C Hair girl, but it doesn't help with retaining moisture in my opinion and I found that if I just use it it dries out my hair abit because of the coconut oil. It feels like your hair is drenched in oil but it's dry ( I hope that give you a better understanding). If you have Afro hair I suggest using it in conjunction with a hair moisturizer, but for looser hair curly and types, this will be perfect for you. Other then that, it's a very light weight oil, gets the job done for that day and smells amazing. Maybe your experiences will be different. Give it a try and let me know. ??
